Otun Hamed: Building an Empire While Hitting the Books

O

Otun Hamed

They say balancing school and business is like juggling flaming swords—dangerous but impressive if you get it right. Well, I guess you could say I’m in the middle of my performance. I’m Otun Hamed, a young entrepreneur with big dreams, a deep passion for technology, and just enough sleep deprivation to make it all work.

Gadget Cartel: Where It All Began

Before anything else, there was Gadget Cartel—my first step into the world of business. I saw the massive demand for quality gadgets and accessories and thought, Why buy when you can sell? That one decision turned into a thriving online store that connects tech lovers with the latest and greatest devices. But success isn’t just about selling; it’s about understanding what people need and making sure they get it—with top-tier customer service, of course.

Media Cartel: The Next Chapter

Once I got Gadget Cartel rolling, I realized something: tech is great, but storytelling is powerful. Enter Media Cartel, my venture into digital media. From content creation to brand storytelling, Media Cartel is all about helping businesses and individuals craft compelling narratives in a digital world. Think of it as the creative sibling to my tech empire.

Student by Day, CEO by Night

Balancing entrepreneurship with academics is not for the faint of heart. Some people pull all-nighters for exams; I pull them for both business and school. But truth be told, my education at Babcock University has been a game-changer, shaping my business mindset and helping me refine my strategies. The goal? Graduate while scaling my businesses to new heights—because who says you can’t have it all?

The Journey Continues…

Every day is a lesson, whether it's in class or in the world of business. I’m constantly learning, adapting, and pushing boundaries. If you want to see how this story unfolds (or just catch some behind-the-scenes of my grind), follow me on Instagram: @hmdofcartel.

The road to success isn’t always smooth, but one thing’s for sure—I’m here for the ride.
